Seems like single moms live life in the fast lane...and I don't mean all that crazy, partying non-stop non-sense. I mean, we single moms tend to rush through the days, weeks, months, etc just trying to survive. To keep a clean house. To work full-time to keep a roof over your heads and food on the table. To complete your education. To run errands and pay bills. To cook dinner. To keep the baby happy. Feed. Change diapers. Bathe. Entertain. The list goes on and on.. When am I supposed to find time to just sit down, relax, and enjoy my baby girl? How am I supposed to remember all the tiny milestones and new experiences of C's life if I am constantly in survival mode? Hopefully this blog will help me document not only important happenings in C's life, but in mine too! I also hope it helps us mommas to connect to each other!

I hope my blog is able to do the same thing. I'm not trying to become "Blogger of the Year" or a master reviewer; nor do I want to be a provocative blogger only trying to generate traffic. I sincerely hope I find the time to blog to document as much of this crazy journey called mommyhood. Aack!
ReplyDeleteExactly! I just feel like I am missing out on so much.. I don't even take "real" pictures as often as I did when X was here.. Not that he helped much, but I just get so carried away with just surviving that I forget to..haha.
ReplyDeletePlus, this will be nice to connect with other mommas and sharing experiences!
Welcome to blogging :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I was blogging when my daughter was growing up. I've missed documenting so many things and my memory is shocking.
Yes, us single moms just run through the day. I swear I should be 50 pounds lighter at the end of everyday with all the running and juggling i do. I swear I dot know how I remember everything. I worry one of these days Ill forget lil mama at daycare!! I'm constantly sending myself emails to remember things and often have post its stuck to my shoe!! lol. But we do all that we do because we love our children and we want to build a good life for them :)
ReplyDeleteSippies: thanks!! To begin with, I was doing well with documenting everything on a calendar, but since X left, it seems like I forget...hopefully this will help me more! :P
ReplyDeleteMommy Glow: Seriously!! How have I not lost every last pound and then some of this baby weight yet?! I swear, sometimes I am having to remind myself just to take a deep breath and ENJOY it!!
